A new concept in community planning is the “mini-city.”
These can be found in urban settings, and usually consist of a single building
that houses residences, retail shops, restaurants and even movie theatres.
One thing they all have in common is a
need for outside ventilation air. To meet this need, the engineers and
contractors of one particular mini-city turned to Reznor Modular Air Processing
Systems (MAPSIII). A total of four MAPSIII units were installed to provide
fresh air to 300 condominiums.
According to the company, this
development is like a small city into itself, and its citizens depend on Reznor
equipment to keep the city’s air clean and fresh year round. MAPSIII units can
cool, heat, dehumidify and filter outside air for a wide range of applications.
