The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the first products to receive its prestigious WaterSense^SM label for water closet efficiency and performance.

Aug. 22, 2007 — Kohler Products In Dolphin Stadium’s Club-Level Restrooms

As part of Dolphin Stadium’s $300 million renovations, Kohler will introduce its bath products for the all-new Club Level restrooms. It will feature the "Kohler’s Fan Experience," the first all-touchless, luxurious restrooms in a sports and entertainment complex.

Aug. 14, 2007 — Delta Withdraws From KB Home Pilot Program

An Aug. 1 letter from Delta Faucet told of a pilot program between the company and KB Home to distribute Delta products through a third-party logistics firm — Penske Logistics. This raised the hackles of quite a few plumbing distributors around the country, but Delta has since announced its withdraw from that decision.

Aug. 8, 2007 — Eight Kohler Toilets To Bear EPA WaterSense Label

As of April, eight toilets from Kohler Co. earned the WaterSense label, which means these toilets use at least 20 percent less water than standard 1.6 gallons-per-flush toilets while still meeting strict flushing performance guidelines.

American Standard Companies Inc. announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell the company’s worldwide Bath and Kitchen products business to funds advised by Bain Capital Partners, LLC, a leading global private investment firm, for $1.755 billion in cash.

July 16, 2007 — PMI Introduces Bill To Clarify CA Lead Reduction Law

The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute is sponsoring Senate Bill 651 in the California legislature in order to clarify Section 116875 of the Health and Safety Code, the statute that was amended by the plumbing lead reduction law AB 1953.
